Take Note
What if time isn't actually your home?
After our Sunday message on the Kingdom Commodity of Time, this devotional explores a deeper biblical perspective. Hebrews 11 reminds us that believers are "strangers and exiles on the earth," while Jesus teaches that eternal life begins now through knowing Him (John 17:3). As followers of Christ, we don't simply wait for eternity. We already belong to it.
If our true citizenship is in God's Kingdom, then every day becomes an opportunity to invest what He has entrusted to us. Like the servants in Jesus' parable of the talents, we've been given something valuable to steward until our Master returns. The question isn't just how much time we have, but how faithfully we'll use it.
May this encourage you to live beyond the pressure of deadlines and calendars, investing your time in what will last forever through inviting, sharing, and serving others in the name of Christ.
Scripture passages:
• Hebrews 11:13-16
• John 17:3
