Take Note
In this Sunday’s message (October 26th), we looked at the practice of baptism and its significance to the bride of Christ- His church. What does it mean to be baptized as a believer? Why do we practice submersion, and what does it symbolize for those who follow Jesus?
We explored baptism as an ordinance, not a requirement for salvation but an act of obedience to Christ’s command. It’s a public declaration of faith, a witness to others, and an invitation into accountability within the Church. Baptism isn’t about earning grace, it’s about living in response to it.
Cedar Springs also got to put baptism into practice, with 10 individuals celebrating their faith in Christ and joining Him in baptism this Sunday.
If you’re curious about what it means to follow Jesus, or if you’ve trusted Him and haven’t yet taken this step, this teaching is a good place to start.
