What does it mean to be a vessel of mercy?
As followers of Christ, we are called to receive God’s abundant mercy—and to let that mercy flow through us to others. In today’s message, we explore the profound truth that being a vessel of mercy isn’t just about personal transformation—it’s about becoming a representative of God’s grace in a world that desperately needs it.
Romans 9:22-23 (ESV): "What if God, desiring to show his wrath and to make known his power, has endured with much patience vessels of wrath prepared for destruction, in order to make known the riches of his glory for vessels of mercy, which he has prepared beforehand for glory—"
Today’s sermon examines how God’s mercy transforms us, equips us to show mercy to others, and challenges us to live as His representatives. We reflect on the parable of the unforgiving servant (Matthew 18:21-35), which reminds us of the importance of extending the same forgiveness and compassion that we have received.
