Welcome to Cedar Springs Community Church in Graham, WA. On October 13th, 2024, we continued our sermon series, "How to Vote," with a focus on Christians under government. This sermon explored how believers should engage with governmental authority, including secular leadership, by grounding our actions in biblical principles.

Key Scripture
"Be subject for the Lord's sake to every human institution, whether it be to the emperor as supreme, or to governors as sent by him to punish those who do evil and to praise those who do good. For this is the will of God, that by doing good you should put to silence the ignorance of foolish people." – 1 Peter 2:13-15 (ESV)

Questions to Consider

How should Christians respond to secular government authority?
What does the Bible say about obeying government laws?
When is it appropriate for Christians to disobey governmental directives?
How can believers balance faithfulness to God with civic duties?
What are the limits of Christian obedience to civil authorities?
