Take Note
Yesterday, during the sermon, Chris helped us to reflect on our need to be a people who are dependent on God. Ultimately that is what sets us apart from the world in which we live.
One of the ways in which we can express our independence from God, is in our need to speak (or type, or swipe or thumb tap). The Bible provides us many great encouragements and instructions to seek periods of silence, so that God's working can be well demonstrated.
Jordan reflects on Isaiah 53:7 and the example of Christ at his final trial, and the silence he chose in that period.
