Take Note
Our prayer focus today is on God-honoring silence.
Have you ever been misunderstood, wrongly accused, or unfairly criticized?
In Matthew 27:12–14, Jesus faced the same. He stayed silent. No defense. No argument. This showed his deep trust in the Father and commitment to his purpose.
Isaiah 53:7 had already spoken of this moment. Though oppressed and afflicted, he did not open his mouth. His silence reflected humility and a willing heart to lay down his life.
Pray that we would trust God enough to stay quiet when needed. That we would value His approval more than our own or anyone else's. As we go and share the good news, we often face criticism – sometimes aggressive criticism. Let's pray that we model Christlike submission and prioritization of God's purpose over our own.
