Drawing from 1 John 4 and 5, this teaching explores how believers can have assurance of eternal life and confidence before God, not through feelings, but through the evidence of abiding in Christ.

We look at the marks of a life that remains in Him: bearing fruit, obeying His commands, confessing Jesus as Lord, and loving others in truth and action. Scripture makes clear that God’s love is not abstract. It is demonstrated, completed, and made visible in the lives of His people.

This message also unpacks the meaning of “perfect love” and what it means for that love to be made complete in us. Because of Christ’s finished work, fear of judgment is replaced with confidence. Perfect love casts out fear, anchoring us in the assurance of what He has done.
