Take Note
In this message, “God’s Generosity, Our Mission,” we look at how the compassion of Jesus moves His people toward the poor, the forgotten, and the overlooked. Jesus teaches that whatever we do for “the least of these,” we do for Him. Serving the poor is not charity, it is worship shaped by the character of Christ.
We trace God’s heart for the vulnerable throughout Scripture, from Deuteronomy’s call to live open handed, to Jesus identifying Himself with the hungry, the stranger, and the broken, to Paul reminding the church that Christ became poor so we could become rich in grace. Generosity is central to who God is, and when we reflect that generosity, the Gospel becomes visible in our city.
A special thank you to our Harvest House and Power Pack volunteers. Your service restores dignity, lifts families, and shows our community the heart of Jesus.
TRY Challenge: Ask God, “Who can I bless with what is already in my hand?”
