Take Note
Join us online or in person at Cedar Springs Community Church in Graham, WA. We invite you to like, subscribe, and comment as we learn together each week. You are always welcome to join us for Sunday service at 10AM.
This week’s message focuses on what it means to be led by the Spirit. The Christian life can feel daunting when we read the call to walk as Jesus walked, love as He loved, forgive others, and bear one another’s burdens. Yet Scripture reminds us that those who are led by the Spirit are sons and daughters of God (Romans 8:14). Being Spirit-led is not about emotion, impulse, or personal justification, but about a life aligned with God’s Word, marked by clarity, faith, and obedience.
We explored misconceptions about being Spirit-led, including mistaking feelings for the Spirit’s voice or twisting Scripture to suit our desires. The true signs of the Spirit’s leading are consistent with God’s Word, build up the church, and shape us into Christ’s likeness. John 16:13 promises, “When the Spirit of truth comes, He will guide you into all the truth.” That guidance is the steady, reliable work of God in us.
Romans 8 contrasts life in the flesh with life in the Spirit, calling believers to set aside sin and embrace righteousness. Galatians 5 urges us to walk in the Spirit so we will not gratify the desires of the flesh. Ephesians 4 challenges us to put off the old self and be renewed in Christ. The Spirit produces patience, focus, and endurance as we yield to His work.
Join us as we seek to walk by the Spirit, not in our own strength but through God’s power. Like, subscribe, and comment below — and come worship with us Sundays at 10AM in Graham.
