Israel’s exile in 2 Kings 17:7 was a result of their idolatry and unfaithfulness to God. They broke His covenant, and the consequence was separation from the land He had given them. But in Galatians 3, we see the hope of the gospel- Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law! He took our place, bore our punishment, and now offers us true freedom in Him.
