Welcome to this week’s devotional as we continue our journey to discover Christ in every book of the Bible. Today, we’re diving into 1 Samuel, where we see the contrast between human kings and God’s ultimate plan to send the Perfect King, Jesus Christ.

1 Samuel tells the story of Saul, the king chosen by the people, and David, the flawed yet faithful king. But beyond these earthly rulers, the book points us to the promised King- Jesus, the perfect and eternal heir to David’s throne (Luke 1:30-33).

Join us as we reflect on the hope and fulfillment we have in Christ, the King who reigns with justice, mercy, and righteousness.

Take a moment to start your week centered on the One who leads His people perfectly.
