Take Note
Jordan dives into deconstruction for the second week, exploring our need to deconstruct our sources.
Sources are the influences that we allow to have a say in our faith and relationship to God.
The Bible makes clear that God’s people should seek Scripture, the example of Christ, and the leading of the Holy Spirit as our foundational sources.
By necessity that means we need to be cautious with our dependence on others who may seek to claim that position. Deconstruction needs to examine the role of both the sources of our religious practice as well as those sources that influence our deconstruction process.
