Take Note
What if the fish tale of Jonah is actually an Easter preview? In this five-minute dive we trace Jonah’s three nights in the deep to Jesus’ three nights in the grave, and we watch judgment turn into resurrection hope. Jonah runs from sinners until God reels him back, while Jesus runs toward sinners and shoulders our judgment. One half-hearted sermon sparks a citywide repentance, yet the obedience of Christ launches salvation to the ends of the earth.
We pull it close with a question, who are your three? Speak their names, pray daily for open doors, then act, a coffee, a text, an offer to pray. The same Spirit who flipped violent Ninevites into repenters is working today. Let Him start with your list.
Our students just came home from camp talking about healings, prophetic words, and tongues with interpretation, living proof of Acts 1:8 in motion. Pause for thirty seconds, ask the Spirit to give you the same boldness, then message one of your three. Next week we open the book of Micah where courtroom drama meets covenant love.
