Take Note
Today we are jumping into the book of Isaiah, sometimes called the “fifth Gospel.” Isaiah points to Jesus hundreds of years before His birth. We are looking at Isaiah 53:4-6, where Jesus is shown as the Suffering Servant who carried our griefs and sorrows. His sacrifice gives us peace and healing.
We are also tying Isaiah’s vision to Acts 8:32-35, where Philip shares the good news about Jesus straight from Isaiah’s prophecy. Jesus is the silent Lamb, the righteous Sufferer, and the victorious King Isaiah promised.
Isaiah shows us more of who Jesus is:
The Coming King (Isaiah 9:7)
The Righteous Branch (Isaiah 11:1)
The Light to the Nations (Isaiah 49:6)
This devotional ties into our GOODer series. Christ’s work makes us “good enough” before God (2 Corinthians 5:21) and the Holy Spirit keeps shaping us to be more like Him (2 Corinthians 3:18).
We are closing with a simple call: spend time meditating on Isaiah 53, celebrate who you are in Christ, and take action by reaching out to your "3", the three people God has put on your heart.
Let’s be vessels of God’s love in a broken world, trusting Him to work through us.
