Take Note
This week we’re in the Gospel of Mark, looking at how it flips the script on power and leadership. Mark shows us a King who doesn’t dominate but serves, who fulfills prophecy without chasing status.
Rome loved strength and control. Mark gives us a Messiah who wins by laying His life down. The connections to Isaiah and the Psalms are direct and intentional.
Worth asking: what does it look like to follow a King who doesn’t play by the world’s rules? And what does that mean for us now?
We’re in Mark 1:1–3, Mark 15, Isaiah 53, Mark 10, Psalm 22, and Philippians 2.
