Take Note
Something happened during this service that didn’t follow the plan. What started in morning prayer carried into worship and never let up. You’ll notice it in the room even through the video. If you've watched Cedar Springs' videos before, you'll know that this was not what we are accustomed to.
Off camera, 20 to 30 people were receiving prayer for healing and freedom. Several were healed. Others gathered at the altar in worship, responding to what God was doing.
It felt like a call back to Acts 2, when the Spirit came suddenly and interrupted everything. Nobody was planning for that, but God moved. What we experienced is part of the same work described throughout the New Testament: the Holy Spirit continuing to lead, convict, heal, and empower the church (John 16:13, 1 Corinthians 12:7, Acts 4:31).
We’ve been walking together as a church in pursuit of sanctification, learning to live lives that are more like Christ. That pursuit of godliness matters. Revival in scripture often begins with repentance and a return to holiness (2 Chronicles 7:14, Hosea 10:12, Acts 3:19). It’s no surprise that God met us in that kind of environment.
This wasn’t emotionalism or hype. It was God responding to hungry people making space for Him.
If something shifted in your life during this service (even if you watched online), please share your testimony. We want to celebrate what God is doing and keep praying that it continues.
